1. What types of information collects and why:


When visitors leave comments on this site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.



An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Contact forms

If you wish to get in touch and make use of the contact form, the information that you share will be stored only in order for us to reply to you. (your name, e-mail address and comment).


Shop account and order details

We will need certain details from you in order for you to complete purchases through the online shop. We will store your name, address, phone number and order details so we can fulfill your order. Payments are made securely either through PayFast (South African payment gateway) or PayPal (International payment gateway) and we do not store any of that information.

For example, we have cookies to save what you enter in on any form you fill out, so that these details can be remembered and save you the hassle of filling them in next time you use a form on the site. 2. About the stored data:

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.


What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.


Do we share your personal information with 3rd parties?

Nope. We only keep info that is needed to communicate with you, offer support or fulfill orders and do not believe in selling on information.


3. How we secure stored information

As stated elsewhere, we do not store any sensitive information at all (including things like payment details). We do store personal information such as names, shipping information and email addresses where necessary.

2. Various security measures built into the the site, so that stored information can’t be accessed by unauthorized persons.
3. We use the https protocol so that data is encrypted.
